but no one wants to die

OK this is my final project for art class. as you can tell it's been scanned in many many pieces and slapped together because my camera was messing it up. I couldn't get things to line up right, so there's chunks missing. but I DONT CARE lol. I decided I'd upload it anyway.

The story behind this- it's supposed to illustrate our dreams... but we're supposed to use images from dadaist artists in the piece. I sorta cheated . a lot. but I got full credit and my teacher really liked it so I'm not that nervous about it anymore.

just in case she'd totally flunk me, but she told me that I modified it so much that she couldn't even tell. I just feel so crappy taking someone else's art and redrawing it. It's sort of like um. certain people who take my characters and claim that they're thiers COUGH COUGH COUGH.

I'm happy with it. I'm not happy with the scan(s)

clicking 'download' makes it go fullsize.
plus, there's something when you're uploading it so you can choose the 'fullview' to be the real size or resized. it's weird like that.

this is awesome! I love the collage element and the flowing drawing...
the only thing I might change is the blocky background; everything else is kind of flowing and going up...otherwise, I luff it!

I reallyreallyreally love this. It's so awesome, your version is MUCH better than either of the two inspiration pieces you had put in your LJ, honestly. I love the colours you choseee, and. I love that bird man thing, which is probably not at all surprising. I definitely don't think the background is too blocky, like someone else had said. It works really well and makes the piece more interesting because of the flowy / blocky contrast. <3

i was all like "wtf?" by the little sketch thing you posted but it turned out so awesome.
maybe i'm just really unobservant but i actually couldn't tell it wasn't scanned right until you said so :(
